I am passionate about helping kids enjoy being challenged in the classroom AND saving you precious prep time! I started creating resources for teachers shortly after having my second child. I was beginning to feel the weight of teaching, prepping, planning, and balancing family life. I wasn’t finding the resources I wanted for my students but realized that I really enjoyed the creative outlet of making them myself. I started sharing these projects and activities with teachers in my building and saw that they worked not just for me… but for others too! I posted my first product on TeachersPayTeachers in September of 2012 and haven’t stopped working to help lessen teachers’ workloads!
I am born and raised in Seattle, Washington. My husband and I were married on the shores of Lake Washington in 2003. Following that, I taught for twelve years before leaving my teaching position to create resources full-time. School is never far from our minds, as our family consists of a junior high and elementary student! When not doing homework, attending sports practices, and creating new resources, our family enjoys summers at the campground and winters on our snowboards.
